As Dental Implant placement has evolved into routine daily dental therapy, the need for alveolar bone preservation has increased in importance. This hands-on course teaches techniques for simple removal of teeth while preserving the alveolar socket. Learn how to use bone grafts and regenerative barriers in a cost-effective and user-friendly way. This course will show the how, when and why of socket grafting in a step-by-step, easy to understand manner.

Peter C. Shatz, DDS

Peter C. Shatz, DDS, has a full-time private practice at Kennestone Periodontics, in Atlanta, GA. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta, GA. He received his dental training at McGill University, Montreal, Canada and his periodontal training at Louisiana State University. He lectures both nationally and internationally on the topics of Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Dental Implantology and Hard & Soft Tissue Regenerative Techniques.
