RELLA CHRISTENSEN, PHD

Rella Christensen, PhD, currently leads TRAC Research. It is part of the non-profit Clinicians Report Foundation, formerly called CRA, which she founded and directed for 27 years. Dr. Christensen's unique contribution has been the development of practice-based methods for the study of products and treatments as they are used directly within dental practices. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (University of Southern California), a PhD in physiology and microbiology (Brigham Young University), and post-graduate training in anaerobic microbiology (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University). She has authored numerous research reports and spoken internationally for over 30 years. Memberships include American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, International Association for Dental Research, International College of Dentists, and Academy of General Dentistry.
